Amy Horn (Volunteer Park Teacher) has been teaching fitness since she was 9 years old, when she spent an entire summer training her agile best friend for an imaginary Olympic gymnastics appearance. She fell in love with hatha yoga at the Bellingham YMCA in 1994 and has been practicing regularly since then. She believes yoga’s path-focused (rather than goal-focused) approach makes it uniquely valuable as a mind and body toner. Her teaching style is approachable and patient, and she aims to help her students inhabit their bodies with ease. Amy is also a belly dancer, snowboarder, Pilates devotee, runner, hiker, windsurfer, and healthy-body enthusiast. She is looking forward to leading conditioning-infused yoga sessions at Southside Booty Camp this summer.

Michael Scott Warner (Seward Park Teacher) took the quantum leap and was released from the corporate world and now teach fitness and yoga full-time all over the state instructing: All Levels, Basics, Chair, Flow, Power, Gentle, and Restorative yoga classes, Body Ball, Keiser Cycle, Pilates and Essential Oils use. In addition, I am a Experienced Certified/Registered Yoga Teacher/Instructor (E-RYT, CYI) registered through Yoga Alliancehttp://www.yogaalliance.org/I have studied with Jordan & Martin Kirk http://kirkyoga.com/and Mary Bruce http://marybruce.com/index.htmlsince 2002. Then, I completed a Yoga Teacher’s Training Program with Jordan and Martin with At One Yogahttp://www.atoneyoga.com/in late 2003 to obtain my Anusara credential and completed Mary’s Restorative Yoga intensive workshop in April 2006 followed by the Level 2 Anusara training with the Kirks in July 2006.
